Lorraine Halpin

Lorraine Halpin is a seasoned professional in the field of social care, currently serving as a Social Care Consultant and External Auditor/Monitor at Care Consult Comply since September 2024. Halpin has also been a Coru Review Member for the Social Care Programme at CORU since October 2021. Previously, Halpin held the position of Director of Compliance and Act Service Manager at 24HrCareServices Ltd from September 2021 to September 2024. Earlier experience includes working as an Aftercare Worker at Tusla, where support and advocacy were provided for young adults preparing to leave care, as well as serving as Centre Manager at Cocoon Childcare. Halpin's career began at HSE in March 2003, taking on various roles including Residential Social Care Worker, Coordinator, and Deputy Unit Manager at Crannog Nua, a support unit for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Halpin holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Care from Technological University Dublin and a Diploma in Leadership and Management from Shaw University.
