Shaun Childs has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Shaun is currently the Vice President of People & Culture at Corus Orthodontists, where they lead the People & Culture function and works towards fostering a strong community and empowering the team. Prior to this, Shaun worked as the Director of People & Culture at Corus Orthodontists as well.

Before joining Corus Orthodontists, Shaun worked at Rogers Communications, where they held various HR roles. Shaun served as the Sr. HR Manager for the Alberta & Prairies region and Retail West, providing leadership and support for the Western Canada Retail business and HR team. Shaun also worked as the Sr. HR Manager for the Residential Consumer Business Unit and as an HR Manager for the Brand team. During their time at Rogers Communications, Shaun built strong relationships and participated in the development of the Brand Leaders of Tomorrow top talent program.

Shaun also has experience working at Suncor Energy, where they held roles such as Talent Programs Advisor and HR Business Partner for Petro-Canada Lubricants. In these roles, they focused on talent management, diversity and inclusion, knowledge transfer, and performance management. Shaun played an integral role in building a high-performance work environment.

Earlier in their career, Shaun worked at PwC as a Manager of Firm Communications. Shaun also worked at Suncor Energy in various roles, including National Coordinator of Associate Recruitment, Campus Recruitment Advisor, HR Business Advisor, and HR Analyst.

Shaun Childs is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Professional Masters of Industrial Relations at Queen's University, starting in 2015. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Management & Organizational Studies at Western University from 2002 to 2006. After that, they attended George Brown College from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources Management.
