Frank Wong

Frank Wong is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in battery management systems and power electronics. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Corvus Energy Ltd. since November 2011, Frank has been instrumental in designing and developing multiple generations of battery BMS for various lithium-ion technologies, ensuring compliance with marine standards, and overseeing the complete process from concept to delivery. Prior roles include electrical engineering positions at Plug Power Canada Inc., General Hydrogen Corp, Xcellsis Fuel Cell Engines, and Ballard Power Systems, where Frank contributed to the design and manufacturing of hydrogen sensors, fuel cell systems, and ultracapacitor technologies. Frank holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Power Electronics from the University of British Columbia, completed between 1988 and 1993.
