Renaud Perez

VP - Transportation/rail Simulation at CORYS

Renaud Perez has diverse work experience in engineering and management roles. Renaud started their career as a Software Developer at Sparx*, specializing in 3D animation and visual effects. Renaud then worked as an Instrumentation & Software Engineer at BMG industry and the Chinese Academy of Sciences before joining CORYS in 2006. At CORYS, Renaud held positions as an I&C Simulation Engineer in China, where they led the team for various simulation projects. Renaud later became the COO in China, responsible for company management and implementing Agile and Lean Startup methods. Renaud also served as the Production Manager in both the USA and France before assuming their current role as VP of Transportation/Rail Simulation. In this position, they utilize their expertise in physics, ergonomics, software development, and modeling to design innovative training and engineering simulators for the transportation industry.

Renaud Perez holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese language and culture from Zhejiang University (2009-2010). Renaud also has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from IUT Lyon 1 (2001-2003). Additionally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Applied Physics, Instrumentation, and Software Engineering from Polytech Annecy-Chambéry (2003-2006).
