Gus Matlis

SVP of Engineering & Support at Cosaic

Gus Matlis has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Gus currently works at S&P Global as the Senior Vice President of Engineering & Support for the ChartIQ Engineering team within the Market Intelligence division. In this role, Gus leads the team in utilizing S&P Global's extensive database to provide clients with powerful new visual insights.

Prior to their current role, Gus held positions at Cosaic, where they served as the SVP of Engineering & Support and the VP of Customer Success. At Cosaic, they were responsible for managing the engineering team and ensuring customer success.

Before Cosaic, Gus worked at Scivantage as the VP of Client Services and Platform Operations. In this role, they were brought in by the CEO to restructure the client service organization and provide a more cohesive approach to servicing clients. Gus successfully turned a small call management center into a full operations center with 24/7 support coverage and dedicated client service managers.

Gus also has experience at SunGard, where they served as the VP of Technical Operations and Client Services for the WealthStation product line. Gus played a key role in restructuring operational processes and implementing best practices for the product line.

Additionally, Gus was a founding partner at Automated Financial Systems, where they served as the head of Technical Operations and COO. Gus was responsible for customer service, technical support, system availability, and budgeting. Gus also handled sales efforts in the early stages of the start-up.

Gus's career began at DigiTrade, where they worked as a Senior Developer. During this time, they gained experience in coding and development.

With their extensive experience in engineering, support, client services, and operations, Gus has a proven track record of driving success in various organizations.

Gus Matlis pursued their education in Computer Engineering from 1987 to 1991 at Brooklyn College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree.
