Jon Pomeroy

Jon Pomeroy has a range of work experience in the healthcare field. Jon began their career as a Resident Physician at Waikiki Health and The Queen's Medical Center, where they worked from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, they joined the Care Coordination Team as a Team Leader and became a Physician at Shore Physicians Group. During this time, they also served as a member of the Practice Management Committee. In 2014, Jon became a Board of Directors member at Shore Quality Partners. In 2017, they joined Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, where they held various roles, including Senior Provider Clinical Application Analyst, Physician, and currently serves as the Associate Director of IS Clinical Initiatives. In 2022, Jon started working at Cosán Group as an Advisor/SVP, Healthcare Informatics.

Jon Pomeroy's education history is as follows:

Jon began their education at the University of Pennsylvania, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Studies from 2001 to 2005.

Jon then attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine from 2006 to 2010 and obtained a Doctor of Osteopathy degree in Medicine.

In 2017, Jon pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Health Informatics at Drexel University. Jon completed this program in 2018.

Following that, they enrolled at Saint Joseph's University and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Health Administration from 2018 to 2020.

In 2019, Jon began their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Artificial Intelligence at Drexel University, which is still ongoing.

Additionally, Jon obtained a Master of Health Innovation degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, completing the program in 2021.

Jon has also acquired various certifications. These include being a fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association (obtained in May 2022), being certified in Clinical Informatics by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (obtained in November 2021), and several certifications related to Epic systems, such as Epic Clinical Data Model, Clarity Data Model, Caboodle Data Model, Cogito Reporting Tools, and Physician Builder (obtained between 2017 and 2019). Jon is also certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (obtained in August 2013).
