Denise Isabel

Denise Isabel serves as the Governance & Financial Controller at Allianz Trade em Portugal since February 2023, overseeing the control environment of the Financial Department and collaborating with the Internal Audit Department and Risk Management Officer. Prior to this role, Denise held the position of Internal Auditor at Banco ATLANTICO Europa, where responsibilities included conducting audits and monitoring compliance with regulations. Denise also gained significant experience at Mazars in Portugal, progressing through various audit roles and leading financial audits, with a focus on internal controls. Earlier experience includes auditing assignments at Baker Tilly (Portugal), and serving as a Research Fellow at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, where contributions were made to historical economic research. Denise holds a postgraduate degree in Accounting and Tax and a bachelor's degree in Economics, both from ISEG.
