Michalina Pacholska

Michalina Pacholska is a Research Scientist at Cosimmetry since January 2023, leading the AI/ML strategy and contributing to software development for products that connect data/AI with human decision-making. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Scientist at Improbable, where a prototype tool was developed to expedite agent-based model creation, and a Research Assistant position at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, where teaching and student project supervision were undertaken. Michalina's internship experience includes research at DeepMind, adapting AlphaFold2 methods for protein side-chain atom predictions, and engineering work at Google, where a data-processing pipeline was implemented to significantly reduce daily data flow. Educational background consists of a PhD in Computer Science from EPFL, a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Warsaw, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the same institution, with additional studies at EPFL during an exchange program.
