Geoffrey Hirschfeld

Geoffrey Hirschfeld is an experienced machine operator at Cosmo Specialty Fibers, Inc., with a career beginning in January 2018. Initially employed as a utility operator, Geoffrey advanced to certified positions including Assistant Digester Cook and Brown Washerman, demonstrating expertise in the sulfite pulp mill processes through extensive training. This role requires adaptability to varying product requirements, multi-tasking, coordination with team members during operational challenges, and proficient computer usage for monitoring production. Prior to this, Geoffrey worked as a commercial fisherman from July 2006 to May 2017, serving as a deckhand and engineer on various vessels in the Gulf of Alaska, employing various fishing techniques. Currently, Geoffrey is pursuing an MBA in International Business at Washington State University, having previously earned a BBA in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Central Washington University.
