David Hughes

David Hughes' work experience begins in 2005 when they started as a Great Britain Athlete for UK Athletics, participating in various global championships and representing well-known brands such as BMW and Mizuno. David then worked as a Brand Communications Executive at adidas from July 2005 to July 2006. In 2012, Hughes joined Michael Page as a Regional Recruitment Manager, achieving significant business growth and cultivating a successful team. From 2015 to 2017, Hughes was a Talent Acquisition Manager at Boots UK. David then became a Senior Manager for Global Talent Acquisition at Walgreens Boots Alliance, focusing on beauty and healthcare brands activation. Most recently, Hughes worked at Costa Coffee, starting in 2020 as the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and then transitioning to the role of Head of People, contributing to the company's growth across various sectors and locations worldwide.

David Hughes attended Queen Elizabeth High School from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained their GCSE. Following high school, they attended John Leggot College and studied Business Studies B, Psychology B, and Sport Studies B. Lastly, David studied Exercise Science at Sheffield Hallam University.
