Robin Forgey

Robin Forgey possesses extensive experience in food safety and quality assurance, currently serving as Assistant General Merchandising Manager at Costco Wholesale since May 2000. In previous roles at Costco, Robin has held positions such as Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance and Quality Assurance Lab Manager/Corporate Microbiologist, overseeing quality testing in the corporate lab and collaborating with vendors and buyers on product specifications. Prior to joining Costco, Robin worked as a Research Scientist at BioControl Systems, Inc., where rapid test kits for pathogens were developed, and as Director of Microbiology at AmTest Labs. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Food Science from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Puget Sound.
