Isijda Sinjari

Isijda Sinjari is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Country Director in Albania for COSV, Isijda leads initiatives to promote sustainable tourism models. As Executive Director of the Institute for Sustainable Policies, Isijda oversees daily operations, financial reporting, and strategic planning. Previous roles include local expert positions with the European Commission's Joint Research Centre and Ecorys NL, as well as a national expert for UNDP on the Blue Economy Programme. Isijda's career began at the Ministry of Finance, where significant expertise was developed in debt management and risk analysis. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Macroeconomics/Fiscal Sustainability from Universita' degli Studi di Bari and Cardiff Business School.
