Gareth Jones

Gareth Jones has extensive work experience in calibration engineering and powertrain controls. Gareth started their career at Lucas/SAGEM/JCAE as a project engineer, where they worked on automotive gasoline calibration for car and motorcycle applications. Gareth also spent two years in France, delivering the first EOBD calibration for PSA. Gareth then joined Ricardo as a Chief Engineer, where they worked for ten years. After that, they worked as a Calibration Engineer at Ford Motor Company for a year before joining Lotus Cars as a Senior Technical Specialist in Powertrain Controls. At Lotus Cars, they were responsible for all technical aspects of the calibration and engine controls programs. Currently, Gareth is working at Cosworth as the Head of Calibration, where they have been since January 2019.

Gareth Jones attended the University of Bath from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree. No specific field of study was mentioned.
