Joan Torrents

Joan Torrents is an accomplished professional in the fine wine industry, currently transforming the world of fine wine at Coterie Holdings UK Limited since 2025. Previously, Joan served as Director and M&A Lead at Tesco from 2018 to 2025, following senior leadership roles in sourcing, procurement, and strategy. Prior to that, Joan was a Senior Consultant at Bain & Company in 2017 and led sourcing efforts at Majestic Wine from 2015 to 2017, managing procurement for Majestic Wines, Naked Wines, and Lay & Wheeler. Additionally, Joan held the position of Buying Director at Enotria Winecellars Ltd from 2012 to 2015. Educationally, Joan is a Master of Wine scholar at The Institute of Masters of Wine and has earned a WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits, supported by a scholarship award.
