Emily Lobbato

Emily Lobbato is the Director of Scaling at Coterie Insurance. Emily has a long history of working in various customer service and sales roles. Emily began their career as an Event Sales Specialist with Fuller Events. There, they were responsible for coordinating event logistics and managing client relationships. After a year and a half in that role, they transitioned to The Specialty Collaborative, where they worked as a Territory Sales Specialist. In that role, they were responsible for maintaining relationships with current clients and developing relationships with new clients. Emily left The Specialty Collaborative after six months to take on a new role as Senior Project Manager with Municode.

In their role with Municode, Emily was responsible for managing 100+ projects from start to finish. This included developing project proposals, leading project teams, and presenting proposals to city managers and other decision-makers. Emily was also responsible for coaching city managers and other primary contacts through challenging internal conversations and educating staff on new processes, procedures, and software. During their time with Municode, Emily also introduced and designed project outlines for an agile-based work management software to help manage project manager workloads.

Emily left Municode in May 2021 to take on their current role as Director of Scaling at Coterie Insurance. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the implementation of new processes and procedures across the organization. Emily is also responsible for training new employees on these processes and procedures.

Emily Lobbato has a marketing degree from Oregon State University. Emily also has a sustainability degree from the same school. Emily Lobbato also participated in a study abroad program in International Business at Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University. Emily also did another study abroad program in French Art and Language at Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC). And finally, they participated in a study abroad program in Francophone studies and culture at Université catholique de l'Ouest. Emily has a CPR and AED certification from Oregon State University.

Their manager is Ann Boger, VP of Scaling.
