Narayan Nair

Narayan Nair has a strong background in reservoir engineering, with experience in various energy companies. Narayan is currently working as the Chief Reservoir Engineer at Coterra Energy since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Reservoir Engineer at Cimarex Energy from June 2018 to October 2021. Narayan also held the position of VP of Engineering at Oakspring Energy, LLC from September 2017 to May 2018. Before that, Nair worked at LINN Energy, LLC, where they served as Team Lead Reservoir Engineering from July 2015 to September 2017 and as a Senior Reservoir Engineer from July 2012 to July 2015. Narayan started their career as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Object Reservoir, where they focused on technology development and analysis of well performance in various shale plays from July 2008 to July 2012.

Narayan Nair's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from SPCE, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Narayan then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin between 2002 and 2005. Finally, Narayan Nair continued their education at the same institution and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Petroleum Engineering from 2005 to 2008.
