Wendy Blickenstaff

Wendy Blickenstaff is an experienced Activity Therapist currently working at Cottonwood Creek Behavioral Hospital in Meridian, ID, since April 2022, where therapeutic activities are provided for inpatient mental health patients across various age groups. As the Community Builder Artist and Owner of Blick-Studios LLC since September 2019, Wendy creates art through linoleum block printmaking, mentoring students, running community events, and collaborating on mental health educational materials. Previously, Wendy served as the Head of the Interfaith Sanctuary Art Collective from June 2020 to September 2022, facilitating therapeutic art groups, and was involved with Turning Pages, a non-profit art and literature program, as a content creator and producer. Wendy's teaching background includes working as an art teacher in the Boise School District from 2010 to 2014. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Fullerton, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Boise State University, and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University, expected to complete in 2026.
