Sriram Rao

Sriram Rao is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in managing complex technology initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Engineering at Couchbase, Sriram is responsible for enhancing Couchbase's multi-cloud capabilities. Prior to this, Sriram held the position of Group Engineering Manager at Oracle, where responsibilities included overseeing the migration of Responsys to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and implementing advanced technologies. At IBM, Sriram excelled in multiple senior managerial roles, leading high-performance teams to deliver innovative cloud-based solutions such as Apache Spark as a Service and DB2 NoSQL support. Sriram's academic credentials include an MBA from San Jose State University and a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Kerala, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Madras.
