Crystal Eldridge is a skilled education professional with extensive experience in program management and instructional oversight. Currently serving as a Program Associate for Student Expectations at the Council of Chief State School Officers since May 2022, Crystal provides vital support to coaches and state education organizations, organizes stakeholder webinars, and manages invoice processing. Previously, as a Program Advisor for the Arkansas Department of Education, Crystal designed and evaluated instructional programs while analyzing performance metrics. Crystal's earlier roles at Pulaski County Special School District included serving as an Adult Education Staff Trainer, Budget Planner, and Grant Writer, as well as instructing veteran students. The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) is a nonpartisan, nationwide, nonprofit organization of public officials who head departments of elementary and secondary education in the states, the District of Columbia, the Department of Defense Education Activity, and five U.S. extra-state jurisdictions. CCSSO provides leadership, advocacy, and technical assistance on major educational issues. The Council seeks member consensus on major educational issues and expresses their views to civic and professional organizations, federal agencies, Congress, and the public.
