Sabrina Sturgeon currently serves as the Senior Project Coordinator, Networks at the Council of Independent Colleges, where responsibilities include managing a national learning community of over 70 universities focused on student belonging and developing strategies for inclusive excellence. Previous experience includes roles such as Professional Development Manager at NASPA, where event planning and logistics for conferences were managed, and various positions at Virginia Tech, including Graduate Student Representative to the Board of Visitors, where insights from over 6,000 graduate students were represented at the highest governance level. Sturgeon holds a Master of Arts in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies from the University of Southern Indiana.
