Evgenia Chatziioakeimidou currently serves as the Head of Diversity and Inclusion at the Council of the European Union, a position held since June 2021. With extensive experience in legal advisory roles, Evgenia has been a Legal Advisor at the Legal Service of the Council of the EU since May 2008 and previously worked as a Legal Advisor at the European Parliament from September 2006 to April 2008, as well as a Legal Officer at the European Commission from May 2004 to August 2006. Evgenia's educational background includes a Post-graduate diploma in EU law from King's College London, a PhD in International Tax Law from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and an LLM in Public Law and Political Science, along with a Law Degree from the same institution.
