Camilla Gibson

Camilla Gibson is an experienced professional specializing in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) with a career spanning over two decades in various roles. Currently serving as the Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Southampton since April 2020, Camilla leads initiatives for cultural change within the university. Previously, Camilla held the position of Equality and Inclusion Manager at Hampshire County Council, where efforts focused on embedding EDI in leadership and service delivery. Camilla’s earlier roles include Diversity Officer at Dorset County Council and Advocacy Worker at Age Concern Bournemouth, among others. Academic qualifications include a BA with honors in Anthropology from Oxford Brookes University and various certifications in education, mentoring, and community development.
