Georgi Peshev

Georgi Peshev currently serves as a Press and Communication Assistant at the Council of the European Union, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this, Georgi worked as a Press Attaché at the Embassy of France in Bulgaria from November 2018 to February 2024, contributing to the 2018 Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU. Experience includes roles at the National Statistical Institute as Chief Expert in the International Cooperation Department, and the European External Action Service as a Junior Professional at the EU Delegation to Argentina. Georgi also held analyst and intern positions at various organizations, including the GEOS Group, the Administration of the President of Bulgaria, The Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, and the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan. An academic background includes a Master's degree in International Security from Sciences Po and a Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences from the same institution, complemented by education at KU Leuven and French Language School "Alphonse de Lamartine."
