Rubén Martínez

Rubén Martínez is an experienced professional with a strong background in IT service management and security. Currently serving as the Deputy to the Head of Unit of Customer Services at the Council of the European Union since March 2020, Rubén is responsible for unit management and coordination. Previously, Rubén held several roles at the European Parliament, including Head of Department for ICT Service Management and Quality and Deputy Head of Department, focusing on service processes and software asset management. Prior experience includes leadership positions in the Ministry of Justice overseeing communications and security projects, as well as senior consulting roles at SATEC, and security coordination at CSIC. Rubén holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Murcia and completed further education at the Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública.
