Michelle Kerwood

Director of Child & Adolescent Treatment Services at Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse

Michelle has been with CADA since 2006, joining the agency as an MFT Intern and School-Based Therapist in the Carpinteria START Program. She subsequently took a role supervising school-based services and then additionally assumed oversight of the agency’s youth treatment and diversion programs. In 2019, she was promoted to her current role, with oversight of all child and adolescent treatment services, which includes all three Daniel Bryant Youth & Family Centers (Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, and Lompoc). She also supervises the Teen Court and YES (Youth Empowerment Services) programs. Michelle, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, holds a BA in sociology from UCSB and a MA in clinical psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara.
