Carrie Bueche

Director, Washington Meetings at Council on Foreign Relations

Carrie B. has extensive experience in organizational and meeting management, currently serving as the Director of Washington Meetings at the Council on Foreign Relations since October 2015, with a progression of roles from Associate Director to Program Coordinator. Prior to this, Carrie taught English as a Language Teacher at Disney English, educating over 100 students in an immersive setting. Carrie's early career included roles as a Project Assistant at the Community Health Partnership of Illinois, where outreach to migrant farmworkers was pivotal, and as an AmeriCorps Volunteer providing healthcare services. Carrie began the professional journey with an internship in the Membership Department at Project Vote Smart. Educationally, Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Knox College and attended Universidad de Palermo in 2008.
