Celine Gounder

Celine Gounder, MD, ScM, FIDSA, serves as a Senior Fellow and Editor-at-Large for Public Health at KFF Health News and as a Medical News Contributor for CBS News, specializing in medicine, infectious diseases, epidemiology, and public health. Celine holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine and practices as an Attending Physician at Bellevue Hospital Center. As the CEO, President, and Founder of Just Human Productions, Celine also hosts and produces the EPIDEMIC and AMERICAN DIAGNOSIS podcasts. Celine is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and previously served on the Innovation Advisory Board for Graphite Health. Education credentials include a BA from Princeton University, an ScM in Epidemiology from The Johns Hopkins University, an MD from the University of Washington, and training in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at Harvard Medical School and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, respectively.
