Denis O'Leary

Denis O'Leary is a seasoned professional with experience across various sectors including finance, policy, and international affairs. Currently serving as a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations since July 2024, Denis has held significant roles such as Senior Investment Associate at Bridgewater Associates and Analyst at Verdad Advisers. Denis also worked as a Special Advisor within the United States Department of Defense and gained extensive experience at J.P. Morgan as Vice President in Leveraged Finance. In addition to a robust career, Denis co-founded the Scarsdale Concours, successfully raising over $450,000 for local charities. Academically, Denis holds an MBA and a Master of Public Policy from Harvard, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from Washington and Lee University, supplemented by studies at Trinity College Dublin.
