Sydney Blakeney

Sydney Blakeney is a highly skilled program coordinator currently working at the Council on Foreign Relations, where responsibilities include managing Washington meetings since May 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a senior program associate and program associate at Internews from March 2022 to February 2025, focusing on global programs and initiatives. Sydney also contributed as a research assistant at the Center for European and Transatlantic Studies, delivering insights on European Union trade policy and digital governance in late 2021. A research intern with The International Foundation for Electoral Systems in the summer of 2021, Sydney played a role in enhancing online resources related to electoral processes.
