Emily Otero

Emily Otero has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Emily started their career in 2000 as an Elementary School Teacher in the Methacton School District. Emily then took on roles such as Reading Department Coordinator and Sixth Grade Math Teacher. In 2016, they became a Math Support Specialist and Grade 5/6 Curriculum Coordinator, where they provided support to students and teachers in planning and teaching the math curriculum. Emily also analyzed data to support curriculum decisions and provided professional development to the department. In 2020, they joined Skyview Upper Elementary as the Dean of Students. Currently, Emily is employed as a School Principal at Council Rock School District.

Emily Otero completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 1999. Emily later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from Villanova University from 2002 to 2004. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in K-12 Administration from Cabrini University, graduating between 2012 and 2014.
