Emily Lovell

Emily Lovell is an experienced lighting designer and production manager with a diverse background in live events, including concerts, theater, and dance. Currently serving as the Assistant Production Manager and Lighting Designer at the Count Basie Center for the Arts since November 2021, Emily's freelance work has spanned from May 2012 to the present, showcasing expertise with various lighting consoles such as GrandMA 2 Ultralite and Avolites Titan Mobile. Previous positions include Production Manager at Bentley Meeker Lighting & Staging, Inc., where responsibilities involved client communication and event proposals, as well as management roles at Asbury Lanes and Strand Theater, focusing on event production and lighting operations. Emily's early experience includes roles as a Shop Assistant at College Light Opera Company and Electrician at Plays In the Park. An alumnus of Wagner College, Emily further developed skills and knowledge in the field from 2011 to 2014.
