Cynthia Barnes

Cynthia has more than 40 years of direct intel client experience as well as 15+ years as a management consultant. Her career has spanned numerous roles - human resources officer, intel analyst, business analyst, human capital consultant - giving her a unique depth and breadth of understanding of our client space. Cynthia served as CTS Director of HR for 3 years, where she developed and implemented personnel resource strategies and oversaw employee onboarding, compensation, health and welfare benefits, employee relations and retention, and AA/EEO compliance. In January 2020, Cynthia was promoted to Senior Vice President of Client Relations, where she leveraged her tenure and contacts from her time as a staff officer to help secure new business opportunities for CTS. She studied at Morris Harvey College and the University of Virginia and earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certificate from American University. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, Cynthia now calls Fairfax, Virginia home. She enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with friends.
