JoEllen McGann is a seasoned professional in international development with extensive experience in food security and agricultural program management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Food Security at Counterpart International since September 2022, JoEllen previously held the same title at ACDI/VOCA, managing significant projects and contributing to the organization's technical approach. JoEllen’s consulting work involved developing programs for clients such as SNV Development Organization and TechnoServe in Mali. As the Country Program Director for Partners for Development in Benin, JoEllen launched a $4 million USDA grant to enhance horticulture value chains. Prior roles include resource management and program coordination at Catholic Relief Services and grants management at the International Foundation for Education and Self-Help. JoEllen holds an MBA in International Management from Royal Holloway, University of London, and two degrees from The George Washington University focused on International Development Studies and International Relations.
