Marcela Youle serves as the Senior Director of the Program Support Unit at Counterpart International, an organization focused on governance, resilient food systems, and environmental management, since March 2022. In this role, Marcela leads operations, compliance, and budget tracking for a diverse portfolio of projects spanning multiple continents, supervises a team of 11 staff and consultants, and collaborates closely with various departments to ensure effective communication and project execution. Prior experience includes over a decade at Chemonics International in various leadership roles, notably as Director of the Latin America & Caribbean Region, where Marcela contributed to significant USAID projects and earned multiple awards for excellence and efficiency. Marcela holds a Master's degree in Communications, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University, along with degrees from Wellesley College and Université Paris-Sorbonne.
