Lisa Davis Purcell

Lisa Davis Purcell is currently the Executive Vice President of External Affairs at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, a position held since October 2014. In this capacity, Purcell leads development, education, marketing, and public relations initiatives, focusing on the preservation and dissemination of country music's history and traditions. Prior to this role, Purcell served in various leadership positions at Hands On Nashville from May 2007 to May 2014, including Senior Vice President of Education, Development, and Community Outreach, and Vice President of External Affairs, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing contributed income, corporate relations, and public relations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Art History from West Virginia University, a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Belmont University, and a Certificate from Harvard Business School’s Young American Leaders Program.
