John Fokisi is a highly experienced ICT professional currently serving as the Principal ICT Officer at the County Government of Kisumu. Previously, John held the position of Chief ICT Officer at the Kisumu County Public Service Board. With an extensive background in ICT roles at various organizations such as World Vision Kenya, Kenya Planters' Cooperative Union Ltd, and FourTell eAfrica, John has honed their skills in system development, technical support, and information security. John holds a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

Kisumu is the principal city of western Kenya, the immediate former capital of Nyanza Province, the headquarters of Kisumu County and the proposed headquarters of the Lake Region Economic Block, which is a conglomeration of 15 counties in Western Kenya.
