Ahmed Adam

Ahmed Adam's work experience includes serving as the DOHS Head Research Coordinator/County AEFI Pharmacovigilance expert at the County Government of Mombasa since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Internship Trainee at novar from September 2020 to November 2020. Ahmed also has experience as a Sub County Medical officer of health at the County Government of Mombasa from 2017 to 2019, and as a Sub county pharmacist at the Ministry of Health Kenya in 2016.

Ahmed Adam completed their Master's degree in Vaccinology from Università degli Studi di Siena in the years 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Aga Khan High School in Mombasa, but the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Ahmed then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Nairobi, although the years of attendance are not specified.

In addition to their formal education, Ahmed obtained various certifications. In December 2020, they completed a certification in Vaccine Economics for COVID-19 from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In November 2019, they obtained a certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training, including RBM and QA inspections, from QBEX - Quality By Experts. Earlier in September 2019, they received a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the University of Washington. Before that, in April 2018, they completed an Introduction to Epidemiology course at the University of Washington. Lastly, in December 2017, Ahmed obtained a certification in Leadership and Management in Health, also from the University of Washington.
