Maeshano Ali's work experience includes a role as Fire and Rescue Service-Incident Command Center Chief Controller for the County Government of Mombasa since 2019. Prior to that, in 2009, they received a Certificate in Incident Command System from Kenya Red Cross. In 2007 to 2008, they pursued a Higher National Diploma in Counselling Studies at Kenya Association of Profesional Counsellors. Before that, from 2004 to 2006, Maeshano studied Community Development and Counselling at Mombasa Polytechnic University College, focusing on Social Work, Entrepreneurship, Governance, Project Management, and Counselling. Maeshano began their academic journey at Aga Khan Academy Mombasa, where they obtained a General Certificate of Secondary Education in Arts and Humanities from 1999 to 2004.

Additionally, Maeshano Ali has obtained a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Manchester in August 2013.
