Jeffrey T. Ridgway, Jr. has a diverse work experience. Jeffrey T. has held various roles at the County of Cumberland, starting in December 2019 as the County Comptroller and then moving on to become the Clerk to the Board in April 2022. Currently, they serve as the Chief Financial Officer and County Treasurer. Prior to their work at the County of Cumberland, they served as the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Township Committeeman for the Township of Pittsgrove from January 2017 to December 2019. In 2018, they were briefly employed as the City Treasurer for the City of Gloucester. Jeffrey T. also worked as a Senior Accountant at Holman Frenia Allison, P.C. from January 2018 to June 2018 and as a Senior Accountant at Petroni & Associates LLC from August 2012 to June 2017. Jeffrey T. began their career as an intern at Charles K. Montecino, CPA from January 2012 to April 2012 and at Ruotolo, Spewak & Co. from September 2011 to December 2011.

Jeffrey T. Ridgway, Jr. completed their Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Salem Community College from the years 2007 to 2009. Jeffrey T. then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rowan University, which they obtained from the years 2010 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Jeffrey obtained several qualifications. These include becoming a Certified Public Accountant in April 2015, acquiring the title of Public School Accountant in April 2015, and achieving the designation of Certified Municipal Finance Officer in April 2018. Jeffrey T. also obtained their Registered Municipal Accountant certification in January 2018 and their Certificate of Eligibility as a School Business Administrator in April 2017. Additionally, Jeffrey obtained the certification of Certified County Finance Officer in March 2019 and the title of Qualified Purchasing Agent from the State of New Jersey in February 2021.
