Sonya Pritchard

Sonya Pritchard has a work experience that spans over two organizations. Sonya started their career in 2001 at the County of Dufferin as a Treasurer and worked there until 2006. In 2006, they joined the Town of Orangeville as the Director of Parks and Recreation and held this position until 2011. After that, Sonya returned to the County of Dufferin and became the Chief Administrative Officer in June 2011.

Sonya Pritchard obtained an Honours B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Royal Roads Military College from 1987 to 1991. In 2021, they enrolled in the Municipal Executive Leadership Program at The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School. Sonya has also obtained additional certifications including being a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in February 2022 and being a CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in October 2003.
