Lory A. Varo

Lory A. Varo has extensive experience in legal and administrative roles, currently working in the PFA Office for the County of Erie, PA, since February 2011, where responsibilities include explaining the Protection from Abuse (PFA) process, processing petitions, and attending hearings. Prior to this role, Lory served as a Senior Criminal Records Clerk, assisting the public with criminal records and expungement processes. Additional experience includes being a Notary Public, a freelance writer providing writing and editing services, and holding various positions in law firms as a Paralegal and Legal Secretary. Lory holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and an Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies from Gannon University, and has developed innovative methods for tracking PFA statistics while preparing both State and County reports.
