Charlene Johnston

Charlene Johnston is a seasoned civil engineer currently serving in the Project Management Section of the Engineering Division of Public Works for the County of Kauaʻi since August 2022. With a diverse background in engineering and project management, Charlene has held various roles including Mediation Director and Emergency Disaster Director at Kaua'i Economic Opportunity since September 2021, and Organizational and Business Strategist with A Strategy for That, LLC since September 2017. Previous experience includes positions at AECOM, AMEC Earth & Environmental, and Weston & Sampson Engineers, demonstrating a strong track record in managing complex projects and extensive knowledge in environmental engineering. Charlene holds a BS in Civil Engineering with an Environmental Option from the University of Vermont and an Associate of Science degree from Champlain College.
