Selwyn Hollins

Selwyn Hollins is the Interim Director of Internal Services at the County of Los Angeles. Selwyn has over 20 years of experience in local government, with a focus on finance and operations.

Selwyn began their career as a Personnel Analyst II with the City of Los Angeles, Personnel Department. In this role, Selwyn was responsible for administering the city's personnel policies and procedures. Selwyn then became a Management Analyst II with the City of Los Angeles, Office of Finance. In this role, Selwyn was responsible for overseeing the city's tax and permit collections, billings, and auditing processes.

In 2004, Selwyn became the Assistant General Manager of the Los Angeles Department of Transportation. In this role, Selwyn was responsible for the department's finance and operations. Selwyn then returned to the Los Angeles World Airports in 2014 as Senior Management Analyst II. In this role, Selwyn was responsible for directing parking and ground transportation services at Ontario International Airport.

In 2016, Selwyn returned to the City of Los Angeles as Assistant Director in the Office of Finance. In this role, Selwyn oversaw the city's tax and permit collections, billings, and auditing processes. Selwyn also served as the interim director of internal services at the County of Los Angeles from July 2017 to present.

Selwyn Hollins earned a Master's in the Annenberg School of Communications from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
