James Crutchfield

James Crutchfield has extensive experience in emergency medical services and public safety, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Public Safety for Manatee County Government since February 2013. His roles have included EMS Chief, Chief of Community Paramedicine, and Community Paramedic Program Manager. Crutchfield's prior experience includes positions as a Paramedic at Manatee Memorial Hospital and Catawba County Government, along with a history of volunteer EMT-Basic service. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Care from Western Carolina University and ongoing studies for a Master of Public Health at the University of South Florida.
