Mark N. Sanchez

Mark N. Sanchez has served as Deputy County Counsel for the County of Orange since April 2015, where responsibilities have included providing in-house legal counsel to John Wayne Airport, contributing to the Development and Facilities Team in Public Works, Flood Control, and Land Use Planning, and acting as a trial attorney in Juvenile Dependency cases. Prior experience includes a role as a Post-Bar Attorney Law Clerk at Michel & Associates, P.C., specializing in firearms law and criminal defense, and serving as a Civil Engineer Officer in the US Air Force Reserve. Mark N. Sanchez also has experience in real estate development and project engineering, having held positions with Irongate and Yates Construction, respectively. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and a Doctor of Law from Whittier Law School.
