Zeina Mousa

Zeina Mousa, Esq. is a legal professional currently serving as Deputy County Counsel for the County of Orange since March 2024. Prior to this role, Mousa worked as a Deputy Public Defender at the Orange County Public Defender's office from 2019 to March 2024, during which time also held positions as a Post-bar Clerk, Law Clerk, and Certified Law Clerk focusing on various legal units. Mousa gained early experience as a Certified Law Student at the University of California, Irvine School of Law and served as a Legal Assistant at Smaili and Associates Law Firm. With a background in student government as an At-Large Senator at UCI and editorial work with the Muslim Student Association West, Mousa has also contributed to education through tutoring in English and Spanish, as well as assisting in college writing courses. Mousa earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Irvine School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from the same institution.
