Amanda Lance-Sexton

Amanda Lance-Sexton has extensive experience in the field of mental health and therapy, currently serving as the Assistant Medical Services Administrator with the County of San Diego since April 2013. Throughout her career, Amanda has held various roles including Behavioral Health Program Coordinator, Behavioral Health Program Manager for Pathways to Well-Being, and Lead for Pathways to Well-Being as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Additionally, Amanda maintains a private practice since 2008. Previous positions include Clinical Supervisor at San Diego Hospice, Licensed Mental Health Clinician with the County of San Diego, and Family Services Coordinator at Mental Health Systems. Amanda began her career as a Clinical Art Therapist at Five Acres and the Women's Shelter Program of San Luis Obispo. Amanda holds a Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy/Clinical Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Processes and Disorders from the University of Florida.
