Andrew Potter

Andrew Potter serves as the Executive Officer and Clerk of the Board of Supervisors for the County of San Diego since February 2016, where responsibilities include planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of the Clerk, acting as Parliamentarian at Board meetings, and managing Public Records Act requests. Previous experience includes positions as Director of Administrative Services and City Clerk for the City of Del Mar, and Chief Deputy Clerk of the Board of Supervisors for the County of San Diego. Andrew led efforts in policy development, system implementations, and accessibility improvements in public services, and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in English from San Diego State University.
