Dahvia Lynch serves as the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for the County of San Diego, overseeing a team of over 2,000 professionals committed to fostering a transparent and sustainable government. Previously, Dahvia held significant leadership roles, including Director of Planning & Development Services, where management of approximately 240 experts focused on optimizing the County’s built environment took priority. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Development Services for the City of San Marcos, Chief Planning Officer for the North County Transit District, and various positions within the County of San Diego, including Chief of Resource Management for Parks & Recreation. Dahvia holds a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon.
