Emily Gaines, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with extensive experience in behavioral health. Currently serving as a Behavioral Health Program Coordinator with the County of San Diego since July 2023, Emily also operates a private practice offering Telehealth therapy utilizing EMDR and CBT to address depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Previous experience includes roles as a Behavioral Health Unit Supervisor at the County of Monterey, where oversight of clinicians and evidence-based services was provided, and as a Program Coordinator and clinical lead for the HART program. Emily's early career included positions such as Clinician II at EMQ FamiliesFirst and Therapist at the San Diego Center for Children. Emily holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from National University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University.
